A Cultural Trip to Confucius’ Hometown
Shandong is the main origin of Dongyi Culture, and also the birthplace of Qilu civilization. Its long history and culture, together with its rich and grand gifts bestowed by Nature, have nurtured generations of sages and men of virtues. In this trip, we’ll lead you to go back to the Chunqiu Period of Chinese history, to become a pupil of Confucius and immerse in the charm of Confucianism.

Itinerary
Day 1： Home-Qingdao
Fly to the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao. The tour guide will receive you at the airport and take you to the hotel to have
a rest.
Accommodation： 5 star Hotel
Meals： None
Day 2： Qingdao-Weifang
After enjoying your breakfast in the hotel, you’ll go sightseeing by boat on the sea, followed by a tour to May 4th Square,
passing the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre, and then drive to Weifang, “the Kite Capital of the World”.which is in the middle of Shangdong Peninsula.

Day 3： Weifang-Tai`an
After enjoying your breakfast in the hotel, you’ll go and visit the Grand Folklore Garden of Yangjiabu, where you can try to
make a kite and print out the New Year paintings with your own hands. Then we’ll head for Tai`an,which is is the birth place of Chinese civilization.

Day 4： Tai`an-Qufu
After getting up at the foot of Tai Mountain, you’ll learn Taiji from the Taoist priests before climbing the famous Tai Mountain. You’ll go on to Qufu after coming down from the mountain, to experience the Six Arts Study Program there. In the evening,
a dinner party is to be held in Qufu Shangri-la’s dining hall.

Day 5： Qufu-Qingdao-Home
After enjoying your breakfast in the hotel, you’ll visit Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion and Confucius Forest. Afterwards you can learn from the local people about how to bake the fried pancakes and have a taste of this big original Shangdong pancake. Then you’ll spend about four hours on the road to return to Qingdao, before you are sent to the airport and this trip comes to an end.
